Summer Activities in Central Florida

Summer is the season for fun in the sun, but if you live in Central Florida, this also means a lot of tourists going to Disney and Universal for their summer vacations. If you’re like me and could go without the theme parks this summer, but aren’t sure what else to do with your free time, then you’re in luck! There’s a lot of Admission based activities to do in Central Florida, but there’s also numerous free activities as well! Here are new and unique activities to do this summer that the whole family can enjoy!


  1. View eight counties from the 22-story-high glass-enclosed observation deck at The Citrus Tower.

  2. Have a date night at Leu Gardens, which provides an outdoor movie experience on select Friday evenings.

  3. Drum by moonlight at Dandelion Communitea Cafe’s Full Moon Drum Circle.

  4. Milk a cow at Green Meadows Petting Farm.

  18. Grab a group of friends and take a charter boat out on Lake Harris for a Bass Fishing Trip
